Re: Under 30 starting first round IVF

After a long journey of my partner having cancer and several unsuccessful IUI attempts we are waiting for our IVF treatment. We are scheduled for our orientation appointment for IVF with ICSI in Feb 2016. I was wondering if any one could shed some light on time frames after the orientation appointment? FP have mentioned 12 weeks - but I wasn't sure if that meant we would be starting on medication directly after the appointment? Or if we wait another 12 weeks for the medication/tests etc and then wait again for treatment?

Also - anymore insight on the process etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you!
