The egg donor hunt #2 - New Zealand

Here we are sharing our story, hopefully to find the help we need to complete our family.

Before we got married we had so much excitement talking about starting our family – we talked, smiled, and dreamed about having our own children.

Back in 2016 I was told I had Premature Ovarian Failure which as a woman comes with much heartbreak. I was told the only way we were likely to have children would be through an egg donor.

After we gave it our all trying naturally we were fortunate enough to find an egg donor. After countless amount of blood tests, embryo transfers, all the drugs in between, the long two-week waits and then at the end to hear the words “No it hasnt worked” - it sucks big time. However as hard as it was hearing “no” we had to keep pushing forward to one day get our “yes”. We wanted to hold our baby so much.

We thankfully found another egg donor and this time around we heard “Yes you are pregnant!” and we were able to enjoy the excitement that we had talked about for so long and hold our precious baby boy. We are so blessed to have our beautiful son who is the absolute sunshine of our lives.

My husband and I strive for the best in life and we enjoy keeping fit and healthy and take pride in looking after ourselves. Both of us come from loving, supportive families and are truly grateful for the gift of life and for everything that we have and worked hard for.

There as been more heartbreak with trying to get pregnant again with a few more no's and a miscarriage. We both have siblings and feel in our hearts our family is not complete and we would love another child and a sibling for our son. Here we are on the Egg Donor Hunt #2 - hopefully to find someone to help. We are looking for a woman to gift us the gift of life and be our egg donor.

It is hard to put into words how much it means to us that there are people in this world that are kind enough to do this for others. Thank you for considering us.
