Changes to funding criteria for Auckland and Northland

November 29, 2018

Changes to the public funding criteria (CPAC) have been made for the Auckland and Northland region. The amendments are:
• The woman's BMI must be less than 35 on the first specialist appointment date and 32 or under on the treatment start date
• The man must be under the age of 55 years at the date of referral. His BMI must be less than 40 on both the first specialist appointment date and the treatment start date
• Both parties must be non-smokers for three months minimum prior to treatment
