Embryo storage deadline looms

September 3, 2014

Another article on the looming deadline for storage of gametes, embryos and reproductive tissue.  If you know anyone overseas who underwent fertility treatment last decade, please ask them to contact their clinic.  If you have embryos in storage which were created from frozen sperm, the age of the sperm, not the embryos, is considered.

An article on the 10 year storage deadline for sperm, eggs and embryos.  Although the time limit comes into force later this year, many people are still unable to be contacted about their gametes and embryos which will otherwise need to be discarded.  Please ensure that your clinic has your current contact details if you have frozen material in storage.
