Fertility NZ Covid-19 Policy for In-Person Support
Support groups are the backbone of Fertility NZ’s activity, they provide most of our face-to-face contact with our Members and community. We have a duty of care to all volunteers and attendees, and whilst Covid 19 is in our communities FNZ’s priority is the safety of all attendees to our events.
Framework
We are responsible to ensure all our events are compliant with the relevant government guidelines, currently this is traffic light system. As any face to face meeting (including support groups both indoors and outdoors) held under the FNZ banner would be classed as an event, the following restrictions apply:
- Red and Orange – Vaccine certificates required for all events.
- Green – Vaccine certificates required for events over 100 people - Masks and hand sanitiser are strongly encourage.
- Social distancing – try to keep 1m space between attendees.
- Signing in with QR codes for venue/location is required (including parks and outdoor venues).
This means any person attending an FNZ event is required to be vaccinated. If you have chosen not to vaccinate or don't feel comfortable meeting in-person and still require support FNZ are happy to facilitate this via phone or zoom. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these new and trying times we find ourselves in.
If you need further information and support please contact Kate on 0800 333 306 or email support@fertilitynz.org.nz.
