For one 28-year-old New Zealander, infertility was a club she never dreamed she would join

Approximately one in five New Zealanders will experience infertility. Take a look around your office or your favourite cafe; chances are, someone in the room will be silently struggling.

Research quoted by fertility support charity Fertility NZ indicates that a couple aged 29 have a 23 percent chance of conceiving naturally each month, or a 48 percent chance of conceiving with IVF. As a couple gets older, those percentages drop.will be silently struggling.
